The Subdirectorate of Relations with Companies and Employability of the Higher Technical School of Mining and Energy Engineers assumes Quality within its competencies, therefore, it is responsible for general coordination, strategy and maximum representation externally. . The Quality Unit is made up of a Deputy for Quality and Accreditation reporting to the Deputy Director, as well as a Quality Technician. Internal Quality Assurance System (SAIC)
The Higher Technical School of Mining and Energy Engineers of the Polytechnic University of Madrid has implemented an Internal Quality Assurance System (SAIC) in order to ensure the control, review and continuous improvement of the academic programs offered by the Center. This SAIC is designed to comply with the quality standards established by current university regulations, as well as the criteria and guidelines defined by both national and international accreditation agencies. In addition, the SAIC design has been certified by the National Quality Assessment Agency (ANECA) through the AUDIT program.

To articulate the participation of interest groups in decision-making related to Quality, there is a Quality Commission, which participates in the planning and monitoring tasks of the Internal Quality Guarantee System.
