Master's Degree in Geological Engineering (MUIG)

He Master's Degree in Geological Engineering It is aimed at mining engineers and graduates, engineer-geologist graduates, civil engineer-graduates, geologists, graduates in Earth Sciences and Graduates in Environmental Sciences.

Duration

The Master has a teaching load of 90 ECTS credits and is organized in three semesters: The first two are face-to-face, while the third can be taken remotely, which favors the integration of transnational students or students with a work occupation into the master's degree.

Goals

The Master contemplates 3 branches of intensification. depending on the approach the student wants to give or her needs:

1.- The Physical Environment Management

2.- The Geological Resources Research and Management.

3.- The Underground Space Management.

 

Double Degree

 The Master of Geological Engineering has a Double Degree agreement with the "Master Ingénieur Civil des Mines et Géologue" of the University of Liège (Belgium). In this case, the second semester is taken at the University of Liège and the Master's Thesis must be completed in English.
