Master's Degree in Sustainable Mining (MUMS)

He Master in Sustainable Mining The UPM aims to train professionals capable of providing a coherent response to the difficult task of carrying out an activity of great technological complexity under conditions of safety, quality and respect for the environmental and social environment.

Teaching

The teaching is type in person (ETSIME). The language of instruction is English in the first semester and Spanish in the second. The Master's Thesis can be developed in any of the two languages.

The duration is 1 course academic - 60 credits ECTS

Goals

The Master is aimed at Mining Engineers, Metallurgists, Geologists, Civil Engineers, Geomatics, Environmental Engineers, etc., seeking training in knowledge and skills as professionals who will practice in the area of ​​mining, from exploration to operation and management.

The program provides the necessary skills for long-term professional development in companies in the mining and environmental sector, as well as to get started in related research activities.

AMRD

 The Master's Degree in Sustainable Mining is affiliated with the International Master Advanced Mineral Resources Development (AMRD), which is one of the most prestigious international master's degrees in mining, participated by several universities worldwide.
