Next Saturday, February 3, at 7:30 p.m., we will celebrate the Family Concert – Fantasy and Magic Music at the National Auditorium.
In this concert, free of charge and dedicated to family and youth audiences, we want to approach classical music in a somewhat different way.
"Music of fantasy and magic" is the title of this show, much more than a concert, in which the Camerta Musicalis orchestra directed by Edgar Martín, will show the influence of a classical composer like Schumann and his third symphony, the "Rhineland" , has had on contemporary musicians.
It will be a concert full of references to soundtracks from well-known films such as "The Lord of the Rings" or "Star Wars", among others.
Before listening to this work, maestro Martín, established as one of the most prominent disseminators of classical music in Spain, will reveal the keys that have made Schumann's third symphony immortal, with fun musical examples and comparisons with characters like Willow, Princess Leia or Harry Potter.
Camerata Musicalis is committed to a different way of presenting classical music, which aims for new audiences to lose their fear of this genre and fully immerse themselves in it with humor and good vibes.
