Presentation of the Advanced Course in Aggregate Technology

On Friday, September 20, it is planned to present the Advanced Course in Aggregate Technology. A new and renewed course that will be Taught by the most relevant technicians and professors, currently, in the Aggregates sector, directed and coordinated, by Carlos López Jimeno, Professor of Mining Engineering and Exploitation Projects, and whose objective is to provide modern training that qualifies for exploration, research, design, regulatory framework, extraction, treatment and storage, quality, environmental management, safety, health and social management and economic management.

The course is intended for technicians in the sector who want to specialize and delve deeper into some topics, as well as employed or unemployed people, who wish to work in companies in the sector or who want to develop within them.

The course will be blended, with the help of the Moodle platform. The total number of hours of the activities of the Advanced Course in Aggregate Technology is from 14 ECTS either 375 hours, of which 52 hours are in person, two technical visits (about 15 hours) and the rest not in person. In addition, towards the middle of the course there will be some laboratory practices at the LOEMCO (Official Laboratory for Testing of Construction Materials), located in the UPM Technology Park in Getafe (TECNOGETAFE).

The course will be taught at the ETSI of Mines and Energy in Madrid for thirteen Fridays, starting on October 11, 2024 and ending May 23, 2025.

He pre-registration period is until September 30, and that of registration, from September 1 to 30.

The cost of the complete course is €1,167 (VAT not included), and can be done in modules, in this case the price is €175/module (VAT not included).
