Monitoring and Evaluation

Project monitoring It is done by:

  • Mentor workshop (conciliation meeting)
  • Tutor-mentor meetings (monthly)
  • Tutor-mentor-mentee meetings (monthly)
  • Mandatory reports in electronic format
  • Electronic support:
    • Moodle (forums, news...)
    • Social networks (Twitter, Facebook, Email, etc.)
    • Website under construction (reports, personal data,...)
  • Intermediate and final evaluation

The topics to be discussed are several:

  1. My arrival at first. Subjects: interrelation. Search for resources. Tutorials.

  2. Career structure. Types of subjects. Specialties.

  3. Regulations:
    Regulations of permanence
    Regulations academic
    Regulations of exams
    Regulations on tutoring
    Training Activities (UPM General Catalog)

  4. Center Structure
    Departments
    Groups research
    Laboratories research
    Projects research

  5. Scholarships and study aid (CAM, national, etc.)

  6. EHEA. New degrees

  7. Services of the Center. Web, library, etc.

  8. Resources, activities and UPM services

  9. Student delegation. Clubs and Associations

  10. Administrative issues. Tuition.

 

Preparation of meeting reports

Preparation of a report after mentor-mentee meetings with the following points:

  • Assistants
  • Matters discussed at the meeting
  • Problems detected and possible solutions adopted
  • Incidents
  • Recommendations made by students
  • Suggestions for improvement

These reports must be filled out according to formats provided on the network. Therefore, tutors must:

  • Periodically review these reports
  • QUICKLY SOLVE any possible problem or incident
