Welcome to the space of the Master's Degree in Energy Efficiency in Building, Industry and Transport, at the Polytechnic University of Madrid (MUEE).

It is a Master's Degree, with an Intercenter Study Plan and shared training processes, in whose teaching teachers from various centers of the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) participate. The centers to which the degree is assigned are:

 

Who is it addressed to?

The Master's Degree in Energy Efficiency in Building, Industry and Transport is aimed at graduates with a scientific-technical profile who wish to acquire an updated and practical specialization in Energy Efficiency, or are interested in subsequently completing a Doctoral Thesis. within the framework of some of the Doctoral Programs related to the field of knowledge of the Master.

The admission and selection of students will be carried out by the Joint Academic Planning Commission of the Master's Degree in accordance with the rules established in general by the UPM. The entry profiles required to complete this Master are official Spanish university degrees in engineering or architecture, or their equivalents abroad. Entry profiles with qualifications in the branches of knowledge "Engineering and Architecture" and "Science" are recommended.

Those who are in possession of an official Spanish university degree or an official university degree, issued by a university belonging to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), which authorizes access to the teachings in the issuing country, may apply for admission to these studies. master's degree, as well as those who are in possession of a degree issued by a university in a country not belonging to the EHEA, which has been homologated by a degree belonging to the EHEA that gives access to a university master's degree, or who in their country of origin access to Master's level studies. Students who have studied abroad must accredit studies equivalent to at least 180 ECTS.

Engineers and architects (from plans in force until 2007) will directly access the training modules. Technical engineers and architects must take complementary training, so that they acquire the necessary skills to follow the Master's degree.

Depending on their previous training, the Joint Academic Planning Committee of the Master will evaluate whether the student should take complementary training credits or not, with a maximum of 30 ECTS, taking into account the following criteria:

  • Origin qualification
  • Degree content
  • home university
  • Credits for subjects taken
  • Professional experience
