Admission and Registration

Access to undergraduate studies is governed by Royal Decree 412/2014, of June 6, which regulates the conditions for access to official undergraduate university education and the admission procedures to Spanish public universities. and is regulated by the “Admission Regulations” and for the “Registration Regulations”, approved by the UPM Governing Council. These documents detail the different access routes as well as the applicable quotas and administrative procedures.

 

Registration information and procedure

THE deadline to register for the 2024-25 course is July 12 to 16, for new students and July 17 to August 2 for the rest. And of September 4 to 9 for new students of extraordinary call.
Registration takes place annually in the ordinary period, with the exceptions provided for in Art.6.1.b. of the Enrollment Regulations for the 2024-25 academic year, which allow the extension of enrollment in the extraordinary period.

Class Groups

They will be chosen by the students at the time of registration, it is advisable to review the class schedules to avoid overlaps between subjects.

 

Registration Types

Registration can be done:

  • Full-time: minimum 31 credits.          
  • Part-time: minimum 12 credits.

It is mandatory to enroll in pending subjects from lower courses.

Tuition Exemptions

  • Large family of general or special category
  • Global honors in the second year of high school-COU-Professional Training
  • Disability
  • Victims of terrorism
  • Scholarship from the Ministry of Education and FP (no need to provide documentation)

They will mark the appropriate option when performing self-registration, and They will have to deliver the documentation proving the exemption to the Student Secretary when possible and in accordance with the access procedures determined, for comparison..
