Expert Course in Engineering and Uses of Gas in the Energy Transition (gasTE)

In the objectives set for 2030 by the European Union, the path to follow is indicated in relation to climate and energy. In this sense, in terms of climate and energy, objectives are set to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase the share of renewable energy and energy efficiency. At the same time, it seeks to integrate European energy markets, guarantee security of supply and decarbonize the economy.

On this path and with these objectives, in the so-called energy transition, natural gas is called to play a decisive role in the energy mix of the coming years both in Europe and in the rest of the world, as well as the so-called renewable gases and hydrogen. According to the World Energy Outlook of the International Energy Agency, in 2030 the demand for natural gas will increase while that for oil decreases.
