COMUNICACIÓN DE LA UNIVERSIDAD DE ZAGREB (Croacia):
The Confucius Institute at the University of Zagreb is delighted to invite you to our 2nd International Staff Week, centered on the theme "Bridging cultures: Advancing global competence in academia". This exciting event will take place from Tuesday, June 3, 2025, to Saturday, June 7, 2025, and promises to be a rich and engaging experience.
Program Highlights:
The Staff Week will feature a variety of activities designed to foster cultural exchange and multicultural understanding, including:
- Cross-cultural collaboration
- Case studies in international education: lessons learned
- Cultural shock and inculturation
- Managing multicultural teams: From theory to practice
- Communicating effectively in a multicultural world
- Participation at the Dragon boat festival at Jarun Lake (Saturday, June 7)
- A day trip to Plitvice Lakes or the Hrvatsko Zagorje region
Registration Fee (300€ VAT included):
The fee covers:
- 5 meals
- Coffee breaks
- A day trip
- All program activities
Participants are responsible for their accommodation and travel expenses, which may be funded through the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training grant.
Accommodation:
Limited single rooms are available at the Dormitory for 40€ per night (VAT included). Rooms will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so early registration is encouraged.
