Dear colleagues and friends,
Start your summer in the beautiful seaside town of Turku in Finland!
We would like to invite you cordially to our Staff Exchange Week, which will be held at the University of Turku 2–6 June 2025. The timing of our staff week could not be better – you have a possibility to enjoy both the company of your international colleagues and the beautiful Finnish summer!
The theme of our 2025 Staff Week is Success stories in international relations. The programme will encourage you to share best practices with peer colleagues and to learn about our success stories, such as peer-to-peer promotion, sustainability in international framework and smooth digital mobility processes. Additionally, our social activities will give you the chance to get to know the cities of Turku and Pori as well as the excellent opportunity to get to know the staff of the International Office in Turku and other colleagues from various universities.
Participation in our Staff Week is possible for colleagues working in international offices and for administrative staff working with mobilities in the faculty level.
Please fill in an electronic application form to apply. Your participation will be confirmed in the beginning of April.
The registration is open until 31 March 2025. There are 30 places available for our partners on a first-come, first-served basis.
Practical information on accommodation and transportation, including accessibility and green travel options, can be found from our Staff Week event page. We will also send accommodation offers for the confirmed attendants.
Please note that participants are expected to cover their own travel, accommodation and meal costs. You may be eligible to apply for Erasmus+ funding to cover these expenses – your own Erasmus+ coordinator will help you with this. Please note that we are charging a 100 € participation fee in order to cover some of the event expenses, including four lunches, a traditional summer cottage night with dinner and a trip to Pori Consortium. The payment instructions will be provided in the confirmation email in April.
