Presentation April 2, 2024
UPM students can participate by applying the methodology proposed by Ferran Adrià to their final degree or master's projects or to projects in any subject.
Telephone launches a challenge for university students as part of the celebration of its centenary. It is about the Challenge eIBulli1846, which aims to disseminate the methodology called Sapiens among undergraduate and master's students for its application in final degree projects or in innovation projects in any subject. Students from all universities that have a Telefónica chair can participate, as is the case of the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM).
Sapiens is a set of methods developed by the chef Ferran Adrià and the team of elBullifoundation "to connect knowledge." Applicable to any project, it serves to "understand its context and the work matter itself, to later give it a purpose," according to its promoters. Creating a product or service, innovating, communicating, analyzing the environment or an organization and managing information are examples of tasks they cite for which their methodology can be used.
The presentation of the eIBulli1846 Challenge will take place on April 2 at the Francisco de Vitoria University, in an event that will bring together professors and students from the six campuses of the Community of Madrid with Telefónica chairs. UPM students interested in participating in the challenge will be able to sign up from that date. The registration form will be available on the website of the Telefónica Chair Economy, Society and Digital Transformation.
