Patricia Forcén Jiménez will give a seminar on the research career within the framework of the cycle of conferences of the Logo of Excellence in Human Resources for Research (HRS4R) that are being taught at the UPM.
Forcén is a member of the Society of Spanish Scientists in the United Kingdom (SRUK/CERU), she volunteered as a member of the Women in Science Committee and director of the Mentoring Committee; She is also a Mentor in the latter program, having received the Award for one of the "Best CERU Mentors" on several occasions.
The talk will focus on research career options and the speaker will contribute her knowledge and background to show examples of different career paths that can be followed, once the doctorate degree has been achieved. The meeting will last approximately one hour.
