DIMARMA - Presentation

Doctorate in Research, Modeling and Analysis of Risk in the Environment (DIMARMA)

The doctoral program in Environmental Research, Modeling and Risk Analysis (MIMARMA) offers its candidates the opportunity to begin a research career within the field of Environmental Science and Technology. The different professors and research groups participating in the program develop projects on topics ranging from the in situ characterization of contaminated sites, the environmental applications of biomarkers and the racemization of amino acids, the transport of contaminants in soil, groundwater and the atmosphere. or environmental risk assessment to improved bioremediation, eco-fuels, photodegradation of pollutants, injection and deep storage of CO2 or applications of remote sensing to environmental problems, among many others. Doctoral students in the program have modern chemistry, geology, engineering and computer science laboratories at their disposal and are immersed in an international environment that aspires to research excellence.
